Emergency services were called to the scene of a double crash that closed a Wiltshire road.
Both police and paramedics were initially called to the B3105 near Staverton Mill in Trowbridge at around 1.40pm on Sunday, January 28, after a crash between a motorcycle and a car.
The road was shut at the bridge over the River Avon but just 20 minutes later a three-car collision took place on the other side of the bridge.
This crash involved a Kia, a Mitsubishi, and a Mercedes.
No serious injuries were reported during the incident.
The road remained closed for some time while police dealt with the two crashes, and reopened later on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called to the road near to Staverton Mills at approximately 1.40pm on Sunday following a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Volkswagen Tiguan.
“Ambulance attended to deal with the motorcyclist.
“Approximately 20 minutes later a further collision was reported near to the initial collision but on the Holt side of the closure, involving a Kia, Mitsubishi, and a Mercedes.
“No serious injuries reported.”
