A teenager is attending court on suspicion of robbery after allegedly assaulting a person who would not give him a football.
A 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons was involved in a suspected robbery at Springfield Campus, Corsham, on October 9, 2023.
He is alleged to have threatened unlawful violence and assaulted the victim by punching and kicking him because the victim 'wouldn't give him his football'.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "The team arrested a 17-year-old male from Corsham, on suspicion of robbery.
"He was interviewed in Swindon custody and released on conditional bail.
"The Corsham Team led the investigation and after seeking Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) charging advice, the 17-year-old male was today charged to court for the offence of actual bodily harm."
