AN EXTENDED closure notice has been imposed on a problem Wrexham property.
Following a successful application heard before Wrexham Magistrates on Thursday morning, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team were granted a closure order against a property in Grove Road.
This follows on from the closure notice that was issued on the property earlier this week.
A spokesperson for the Wrexham City policing team said: "Visitors to the property were causing a persistent nuisance to the community, so this order prevents anyone but the tenant from being present.
"The order is in place for three months, and anyone found breaching the order risks arrest, as well as the tenant."
Police have imposed a number of closure notices on problem properties in the Wrexham area in recent weeks.
