A Trowbridge family have joined forces to breathe new life into a former mid-19th century church hall in the centre of the town.

Sisters Katie Seymour, 26, and Laura Reynolds, 34, their mother Helen Seymour, 60, and Laura’s husband Craig Reynolds,35, have formed The Centre at St James Church Hall in Union Street.

The family staged a launch party on Saturday (April 13) with face painting and inflatables and even invited Spiderman along to help promote it.

Managing director Craig said: “We are trying to do something for everyone. We want to give something back to families in Trowbridge.”

The family aims to bring the Grade II-listed building back into use by renting out space for family-orientated activities and events for people of ages and abilities.
