A unique model engineering exhibition is taking place for the first time this bank holiday weekend in Wiltshire.
Crofton Beams Engines in Marlborough has pumped water from Wilton Water into the Kennet and Avon Canal for over 200 years and will be hosting the first ever exhibition of models and craftwork by Crofton volunteers on Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27, from 10:30am to 4:30pm.
Dave Throup, from Crofton communications team, said: “This is a static exhibition so there will be no live steam, however there are a variety of models to see from barrel organs to heat engines to O gauge railway trains.

“It is all about showcasing the talents in this area that do not generally get seen or appreciated. There is no other opportunity in Wiltshire to see this kind of work.
“These are early days in our developing themed events and exhibitions at Crofton and there are certainly plans afoot for these events to be analysed during the winter closure.
“This, hopefully, will allow these events to become better organised and more rounded and fully developed next year. Your support is appreciated as these events and exhibitions are vital to Crofton's long-term future to increase footfall and interest.”
