Three drivers have been reprimanded for speeding through a Wiltshire village.
Officers from Trowbridge response team 2 and Melksham NPT conducted speed checks on the A361 in Seend laying in wait for any motorists exceeding the speed limit.
During these checks, Wiltshire Police officers observed a trio of speeders travelling through the area at a speed faster than the 30mph speed limit.
Words of advice were given to all three.
Officers added that one of the speeding drivers told them they 'thought it was acceptable to speed' because they were 'overexcited listening to a tennis match on their radio'.
A spokesperson said: "Despite how fun tennis can be, it is not acceptable to exceed the speed limit."
