ONE of the market hall traders at the Castle Place shopping centre in Trowbridge has closed 'until further notice' following a raid by police.
R&C Entertainment posted a notice on its social media page saying: “We are currently closed till further notice regarding a family emergency. Please bear with us.”
Earlier, Trowbridge Police posted a message on their Facebok page, saying: “Trowbridge and Melksham NPT have had a successful morning seizing a large number of stolen goods from a Trowbridge Trader.
“Arrests have been made for handling stolen goods and three people are currently in custody assisting enquiries.”
R&C Entertainment moved into the Castle Place market hall about two years ago and is one of around eight businesses who trade there.
The small business buys, sells and exchanges XBox, Playstation and Nintendo gaming consoles and accessories, diecast models, Lego, Scalextric and model railway equipment, as well as pop collectables, DVDs and Blu-rays.
It is not known for how long the R&C Entertainment stall in the market hall at Castle Place will be closed.
