A man in his 40s has died after a suspected stabbing in a Wiltshire village and a woman in her 50s has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police were called to an address in Strawberry Fields, Easterton, near Devizes shortly after 8pm on Tuesday, July 2 after receiving reports that a man had sustained stab wounds.
Emergency services responded to the incident and a police cordon was put in place.
Several police cars were pictured at the scene on the night of the incident.
Photos taken in the morning on July 3 show a forensic van conducting investigations and police still on scene.
The woman arrested on suspicion of murder was taken to Melksham custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police, said: "Both individuals are believed to be known to each other and we would like to reassure residents that we do not believe there to be a wider risk to the public."
Police are asking anyone with information to call 101 and quote the log number 291 of July 2.
