TEN-MAN Swindon slumped to a disappointing 2-1 defeat away at Huddersfield this afternoon.

Second half goals from Michael Collins and Andy Butler gave the Terriers a deserved three points, while Town's woe was compounded as Patrick Kanyuka saw red for a professional foul.

Blair Sturrock struck a post late on for Danny Wilson's side before Simon Cox fired in from 30 yards, but they deserved very little from the game after being largely over-run by an impressive Huddersfield team Here's the key moments from today's game: Four mins: Keigan Parker is released down the right and he races away from Jerel Ifil before striking a shot across goal which Peter Brezovan claims easily.

Six mins: At the other end, the recalled Billy Paynter forces Terriers keeper Alex Smithies into a smart stop at his near post with a snap-shot.

Seven mins: It's real end-to-end stuff and when Danny Cadamarteri beats Kevin Amankwaah down the right, Jim Goodwin turns the ball across the face of goal.

One Huddersfield shot is blocked, before Phil Jevons can only tamely hit one straight at Brezovan.

Nine mins: Gary Roberts' corner is only half-cleared by Jerel Ifil and it comes back to the winger wide on the right.

He teases Jack Smith before cutting inside and firing in a fierce effort destined for the top corner until the intervention of Brezovan's fists.

14 mins: Parker flashes a shot high and wide after Patrick Kanyuka and Ifil both fail to get the ball clear. It's all Huddersfield at the moment.

21 mins: Town give away possession in the middle of the park and Roberts sprints down the left. His ball inside is met by Jevons, but Brezovan turns the effort round the post for a corner.

37 mins: Brezovan's keeping Swindon in it at the moment - another good stop, this time one-handed at his near post to keep out Jevons' strike.

40 mins: Finally, Town spring into life. A lovely, patient passing move sees Jon-Paul McGovern and Billy Paynter exchange passes down the right.

The front man rolls the ball across the edge of the area for Michael Pook, who plays a one-two with Simon Cox before curling a shot over.

50 mins: Andy Holdsworth is fed down the right flank by Cadamarteri and, striding away from Michael Timlin he whips in a cross from the by-line.

It is met by Parker at the far post but he is unable to beat Brezovan with his shot.

52 mins (GOAL 1-0 Collins): Roberts has the ball on the left flank and, with options a plenty in the centre, opts to slide to the edge of the box to Michael Collins rather than send in a cross.

It's a good choice as the central midfielder has an age to pick his spot from 20 yards and send a low drive off the post and past the static Peter Brezovan.

56 mins: As Town give away cheap possession once more, Roberts strides down the left flank, cuts inside Jack Smith and fires a right foot shot which Brezovan claims above his head.

60 mins (GOAL 2-0 Butler): Town are punished for failing to clear a corner as Huddersfield score their second goal.

Roberts' set piece isn't dealt with by the Swindon rearguard and when it crossed back into the box for the third time, defender Andy Butler meets it at the far post to crash home a header.

65 mins (SENDING OFF): Huddersfield catch Swindon on the counter-attack and a ball over the top releases Jim Goodwin, who is tugged back by Kanyuka 25 yards out.

As the Town defender is the last man, referee Phil Gibbs has no choice but to give Kanyuka a straight red card.

72 mins: Cadamarteri's raking cross field pass towards the far post appears to have caught out Brezovan but, with Phil Jevons applying the finish, the keeper manages to get a touch to divert it wide.

81 mins: A rare Swindon attack almost proves fruitful. Anthony McNamee's left wing cross is turned against the near post by fellow substitute Blair Sturrock.

The rebound falls invitingly for Craig Easton, but the midfielder, under pressure, fires over from inside the six yard box.

89 mins: Swindon's afternoon is summed up when Sturrock connects with Timlin's corner.

His header appears to be going towards the bottom corner until it strikes teammate Cox and is cleared to safety by the Huddersfield defence.

90 mins (GOAL 2-1 Cox): Simon Cox ends his seven-game run without a goal as he fires in a cracker from 30 yards.

It's the front man's 17th of the season, but there's no celebrations as Town realise it's too little too late.
