A church's plans for a Christian school and faith centre to be opened on a business park in Warminster have been given the go ahead.

The Foundation Christian Fellowship will now move head with plans to open the centre, full-time Christian school for children aged five and above and Bible school for adults, on the Woodcock Industrial Estate.

Wiltshire Council’s planning department approved the plans under delegated powers.

Until now, the church, run by the Rev Stephen Wood, has been operating out of Dewey House and the Assembly Rooms in Warminster.

The planning application was for a change of use, as the plot used to be a children’s play area called Tropical Park.
