Award-winning amateur dramatics group the Bradfordians are holding auditions for their latest production.
They are hoping for an enthusiastic cast for their open-air production of King Lear at Westwood Manor in June next year.
Last year’s performance of Rebecca was nominated for three of the Bristol Evening Post’s Rosebowl Awards.
Director Simon Blacksall, who has won Rosebowl awards for previous Shakespeare plays with the Bradfordians, said:“Anyone is welcome to turn up and be considered, and I am hoping that everyone who does audition will be in the play.
“Even if it is only a walk-on part, they will be able to get dressed up and join in.”
The casting sessions will be held on December 1 and 3 in the Lambert Rooms, Bradford on Avon.
