Children at a pre-school and nursery on the Paxcroft Mead estate in Hilperton have won £1,000 of eco-friendly prizes after being named a runner-up in a national competition.
The 32 children aged three to five at Just Learning in Hackett Place, took part in Bob the Builder’s Project: Renovate with Knauf Insulation.
They learned about being more eco-friendly and described what changes they would make to their building.
They won £500 of insulation, £500 of B&Q vouchers and toys and books.
Meanwhile, pupils at Corsham Regis Primary invited an eco group to see how environmentally-friendly their school is.
Children from Years 3 and 4 showed off the recycling area and mini beast garden to writer Sarah Singleton and town councillor Nikki Kenna.
