Last Sunday morning I went to watch my grandson play football only to find that the start had been delayed because the players did not have their registration forms with them.
I was informed that each player must hold his form while the manager of the opposing team inspects them to ensure each player is correctly registered.
What a sad day when 12-year-old boys are presumed guilty of cheating. While there may have been cases of teams playing unregistered players, this does appear to be another case of over-reaction by the powers that be. Big Brother is watching you, even at 12 years of age.
