I cannot agree more with Mr Barnett and other readers who consider that these speed humps in The Shires car park are more of a hazard than that of a benefit.
My car has scraped its underneath although being driven slowly. In these hard financial times, I feel that council taxpayers’ money could be saved or spent on more worthy causes, perhaps improving the local cart tracks we call roads. If my car has any damage caused by these hideous ramps, then I will deduct any costs from my council tax.
