A man who turned up to Trowbridge Hospital's minor injury unit suffering from significant burns had to be rushed to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol for treatment.
The man, in his 20s, turned up at the hospital this afternoon with nine per cent burns to each of his legs.
The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called out to the hospital, but was unable to attend due to the weather conditions, so a road ambulance was called to take the man to Bristol.
