A child who got his hand stuck in a handrail on the escalator at Tesco Extra in Trowbrige on Tuesday had to be freed by firefighters.
The boy, who is thought to be about five or six years old, became stuck on Tuesday afternoon at the store in County Way.
It is believed an off-duty paramedic was in the store and helped stop the escalator.
Firefighters from Trowbridge were called to the scene and helped free the boy, who was not thought to be seriously hurt.
