Moles Club in Bath is one of the best live music venues in the south west.

This is the place for live bands, gigs, dance music and top DJs, and everything to do with the local live music and partying scene.

The club is located in an intimate cellar, in George Street, and opened on new Year's Eve 1978.

Founded upon a mainly live music policy, along with the provision of real ale and a more natural environment, with wooden furniture and an absence of plastic, the club has expanded and continued to develop over the years.

When Robert Fripp played in 1982 things really started to take off.

There followed, over many years, a steady stream of live bands on the way to making a name for themselves.

Little-know groups and singers such as Oasis, David Gray, The Eurythmics, Everything But The Girl, Housemartins, Manic Street Preachers, Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, Pulp, Radiohead, The Smiths, Tori Amos, T'Pau, The Killers and Travis all played here on their way to the big time.
