KELLY Baldy was in labour with her first child Lily for seven hours. Mrs Baldy said: "She was only 7lb 9.5oz, but boy did that last half a pound take a lot of extra effort."
Mrs Baldy and her husband Kris, of Frome Road, Trowbridge met when they were both working at the town's Chicago Rock Caf, where she was a manager and her future husband was a doorman.
They have been together for four years and were married almost exactly nine months ago.
Mrs Baldy said: "The hospital worked out that Lily was probably conceived on our wedding night so she is our wedding present to each other."
Mrs Baldy, originally from Cheshire, says she especially enjoyed the last few months of her pregnancy and only put on about eight pounds weight overall. However, she says that might change now as people have sent her so many chocolates in congratulations.
