Melksham Moviola will screen an award winning documentary filmed by Wiltshire directors on May 21.

The popular film night will screen Mugabe and the White African, from Lucy Bailey and Andrew Thompson who live in The Deverills, near Warminster.

The documentary, which was shortlisted for an Oscar, follows the struggle of white farmer Michael Campbell as he sues Robert Mugabe for racial discrimination and human rights violations.

Much of it was filmed covertly, with the filmakers risking imprisonment if they were discovered.

The 12A certificate film will be shown on May 21 at Melksham Assembly Hall. Tickets are £5 for adults, £2.50 for under 15s. Doors open at 7.30pm and the screening starts at 8pm.
