A course to help carers of relatives with dementia will be held in a Melksham hotel next month.
The free six-week course starts at the King’s Arms Hotel, in Market Place, in June and will teach carers of those with memory loss about coping strategies.
The weekly two-hourly sessions are being organised by Trowbridge charity Alzheimer's Support, and funded by Wiltshire Council.
There will be practical advice on the legal and financial aspects of caring, and attendees will learn about how to cope with everyday situations.
They will also learn about how the disease is likely to progress in patients.
Anna Littlechild, Alzheimer's Support principal manager, said: “We ran a course earlier in the year and it was so popular we had to turn people away.
“People who are coping with this alone at home need information, coping strategies and a support network.
“Any form of dementia diagnosis is devastating but there are things people can do to make living with memory loss more bearable for both the person with dementia and the carer.”
The course, which is free to participants, will run for two hours each week at the King’s Arms and starts on June 10.
