Warminster man due in court accused of hammer attack
A 33-year-old Warminster man is due to appear before magistrates in Salisbury tomorrow accused of smashing up a car with a hammer after a dispute at the town’s Conservative Club.
The incident is alleged to have happened at the club in Prestbury Road, Warminster, at about 10.30am on April 25.
Kenneth Smyth, of The Ridgeway, Warminster, has been charged with criminal damage.
He has not yet entered a plea.
