BROKERSWOOD Country Park, near Westbury, has again earned an award from wildlife expert David Bell-amy’s conservation scheme.
This year, the park has been singled out for a Special Distinction award, one of only a handful of UK parks.
The awards consider criteria including the way an organisation manages its land as a wildlife haven, reduces energy use, recycles and supports the local community.
Park owner Sue Capon said: “Everyone at the park is exceptionally proud to have received this award.
“When the letter from David Bellamy arrived, we couldn’t believe it.
“So much hard work has gone into creating the heritage centre for our visitors and to have it recognised by David Bellamy himself is fantastic.”
