A Trowbridge woman Sheila Sadler is giving something back to a charity that has changed her life, by providing her assistance dog Kerly, by organising a bluebell walk at Southwick Country Park.
The walk takes place through fantastic scenery in the park, with two routes; one of 1.8km over flat terrain suitable for wheelchairs and buggies and another covering 3km and including meadowland and a narrow bridge.
There will be two registration points; one at the main car park entrance and the other by Squirrels Cafe in the overflow car park.
The event is part of the charity Canine Partners’s national Bluebell Walk Campaign. There will be refreshments, a children’s quiz, competitions and stands. Entry is by donation on registration, or sponsorship forms can be obtained in advance by calling Mrs Sadler on 01225 767054.
