THE Disabled Golf Society will be holding an event at Cumberwell Park Golf Club in Bradford on Avon on Monday and would like to hear from any local players who want to take part.
This is the second time the society has held the event and it is expecting around 15 players to take part.
Players, which include amputees, stroke victims, people with cerebral palsy, the partially-sighted and deaf, will be meeting at 9am at the course.
National events co-ordinator Graeme Robertson, who has MS, said: “The event is a fantastic opportunity for people who love golf but have suffered life-changing incidents to come together and get back into playing. I’d encourage anyone considering coming to get in touch or come down on the day, as it is a great excuse to get out of the house.”
