Center Parcs has announced that its partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity will be continuing for a third year in 2012.

Since May 2010 the holiday firm, which has a site near Warminster, and its guests have been raising funds for the charity’s Beds for Bedz appeal, which aims to keep families together by providing accommodation for parents whilst their children are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

So far more than £290,000 has been donated to from the company.

Guests can opt-in to make a donation when booking their holiday and Center Parcs then match that amount.

The sites around the Uk also raise money through fundraising activities such as rubber duck races down the rapids, sponsored bike rides, golf events and cupcake sales.

Center Parcs’ CEO Martin Dalby said “We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer our support to the Beds for Bedz campaign for another year. We have been raising funds for this worthy cause for more than two years now and look forward to raising a lot more in 2012!”
