A teacher at The Corsham School has been suspended after he was arrested on suspicion of abusing a position of trust last Friday.
The school, in The Tynings, is now carrying out an investigation into the allegations against the 28-year-old. Deputy headteacher Irene Large said: “While investigations are ongoing, the school is not prepared to make further comment, to protect the integrity of the investigation and ensure a fair process.” A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that a 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of abusing a position of trust and has been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.”
