PUPILS at Dilton Marsh Primary School staged their first Art Show to enable the local community to enjoy their masterpieces.
Art club organisers Ellen Roberts and Vicki Hallam said: “Everyone has worked hard to make this fantastic event memorable and to showcase the wonderful work of the talented students.
"During the year, the school’s mini Monet’s and budding Banksy’s have created some fantastic masterpieces practising a range of art mediums.
“From painting to pastels, crayons to collage, the children have experimented and expanded their knowledge of artists work and created their own works of art.
“The children also helped to create exhibition displays using recycled materials in an imaginative way to display the work.”
Many parents and children attended during the opening evening to view the art work.
The school’s head teacher, Jill Hibbs, said: “The standard of work was outstanding - it was amazing to see all of the brilliant work.”
