POLICE have today (August 25) appealed for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a road traffic collision north of Bradford on Avon.
It happened at around 10.36am on the B3109 at Lower South Wraxall and involved a blue pedal cycle and a green Range Rover.
The cyclist, a local man in his 80s, has been taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious head and pelvic injuries.
The driver of the car, a Range Rover, was not injured.
The road was closed for around four hours while collision investigation work took place.
Anyone with information should call PC Pete Williamson, from the Collision Investigation Unit at Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log 115 of today (25/08/19).
