REMEMBRANCE Sunday, marking the anniversary of the signing the Armistice at the end of the First World War, falls this year on Sunday, November 10.

BRADFORD ON AVON
10.15am service at Holy Trinity; 10.45am procession to the war memorial in Westbury Gardens, 11am two minute silence followed by wreath laying.
BOX
10.45am service at the war memorial, 11am two minute silence. Refreshments served at the Methodist Church afterwards.
CHIPPENHAM
10.05am procession led by the macebearer leaves the Town Hall for St Andrews Church. 10.55am the congregation will leave the church to join other people already gathered at the war memorial in the Market Place by 10.50am for wreath laying followed by procession down High Street.
Monday, November 11: 11am two minute silence observed outside the Town Hall.
CORSHAM
10.25am after gathering at the Royal British Legion Club on Newlands Road, the Remembrance Day parade will march to St Bartholomew’s Church. 11.50am wreath laying at the war memorial.
Monday, November 11: 11am two minute silence in the Martingate Centre.
MELKSHAM
10.50am the Remembrance Day parade will start from Kings Street car park for 11am service at St Michael & All Angels’ Church. 12 noon wreath laying at war memorial in Canon Square.

SEMINGTON
10am service at St George’s, Church
TROWBRIDGE
9.15am parade leaves Market Street for 9.45am service at St James’ Church. Following this parade to and wreath laying at from a service that starts at 9.45am. 10.50am parade to and wreath laying at the war memorial in the park. 11am two minute silence.
HILPERTON AND STAVERTON
Saturday, November 9: Remembrance Day coffee morning at Hilperton House, 10am -12 noon, proceeds to St Michael’s flower fund.
Sunday: 10.50am service at St Michael’s, 3pm service at Staverton School.
WESTBURY
10.25am parade forms up at end of High Street, arriving at war memorial 11am, followed by service and wreath laying.
Monday, November 11: 11am short wreath laying ceremony at the war memorial.
WARMINSTER
2.45pm parade leaves Station Road for 3pm service and wreath laying at war memorial on Portway.
DEVIZES
Monday, November 4: 10.45am opening of the Garden of Remembrance on the canal bank near the town’s cemetery.
Sunday, November 10: 8.45am parade musters in the Market Place at 8.45am. It is the 225th anniversary of the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry this year and they will be out in force. 10am service at St John’s Church (relayed over PA system for those outside to participate). 10.35 am attendants arrive at the war memorial on Long Street for wreath laying and two minute silence.
Monday, November 11: 10.45am brief service at the war memorial
MALMESBURY
2pm procession meets at Town Hall for 2.30pm service at the Abbey. Following the service a reception will be held at 4.15pm in the town hall.
ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT
2pm parade leaves Iceland Car Park for wreath laying at war memorial followed by church service and refreshments at the Conservative.
Monday, November 11: 11am service at the war memorial.
PEWSEY
10am service at St John’s, 10.55 wreath laying followed by two minute silence at the war memorial.
MARLBOROUGH
10am onwards parade forms up in High Street to be reviewed by the Mayor before marching to the war memorial at the junction of Barn Street, New Road and London Road. Followed by service at St Mary’s Church.
Monday, November 11: 11am two-minute silence observed outside Town Hall started by the sounding of an air raid siren.
