Virgin Media have issued an update to customers experiencing difficulties with their broadband.
The update follows reports that UK users were experiencing difficulties with their Virgin broadband.
The British telecommunications company which provides telephone, television and internet services in the UK.
According to Down Detector, reports of issues with services started at around 10am on Wednesday morning with London, Manchester and Cardiff seemingly the worst affected areas.
The majority of users experiencing difficulties said the problem was with Virgin’s cable internet, accounting for 80% of reported problems.
Now, the UK broadband provider has moved to update customers and said that not all customers were affected by the issues.
The telecommunications company said the problems experienced by some was not a total loss of service.
A Virgin Media spokesperson said: “Some customers very briefly lost access to certain online content and services this morning.
“We apologise to anyone impacted by this short issue which lasted around 15 minutes and has now been resolved.”
It remains unclear what caused the temporary issues but the company now say there are no longer any issues with their services.
