HAVING already lost Bromham and North Star A from the Premier Division there is further concern that more teams could be about to withdraw from the league.
Last season’s top-flight winners The Castle suffered with a shortage of players for their trip to AFC Melksham and had to postpone their game as did Somerford, who were short of numbers for the visit of Prestige Bodyworks.
The only fixture that did go ahead featured Westbury Rangers and Goatacre CC FC, Rangers claiming a 5-2 victory to go top.
Matthew Mead and Adam Bishop each scored twice, and DJ Wheeler was on target as Mike Beale and Joe Tillyer scored for Goatacre.
