SECOND division Southwick Sports have finally signed Sam McWade from First Division Coyote FC (formerly the Kings Arms, Trowbridge).

McWade ended weeks of speculation about his future by signing for Carl Davies' side and is likely to make his debut at home to Division Two leaders AFC Calne tomorrow.

Former Watford trialist Rob Evans has signed for Premier Division Sherston Town, Evans, who has been signed on as a utility player, had trials in goal for Watford as a 15-year-old and Sherston manager Ed Wilkins will no doubt give him the gloves as he looks to restore some stability to his defence which has leaked 46 goals so far this season.

Dale Pearce has moved across Melksham and joined First Division Foresters Arms from top flight side Spencer Sports. Foresters manager Dave Robinson has yet to see Pearce play but he hopes the midfielder will make an immediate impact against Chippenham Police tomorrow.

Churchill Arms manager Oliver Hickton has brought a couple of new faces to his Fourth Division outfit. Hickton has taken central midfield player Geoffrey Jenks from local rivals Rising Sun and his other new recruit Steven Hayden-Smith, who also had a spell with the Riser last term but the versatile player was a free agent until Hickton coaxed him back to Sunday football.

Corsham United hope the signing of forward Richard Gibson with add some fire power to their strike pairing of Aaron Jones and Dean Hodges. Gibson will have to wait a week for his debut as Corsham are without a game tomorrow but the following week it will be a baptism of fire for Gibson as Corsham are due to play high-flyers Little George.
