Westbury were made to pay for a slow start as they never recovered from a three-goal half-time deficit at Radstock Town.
For the first time this season, United deployed the same team as the previous fixture, but too many players had an off day.
On a very heavy pitch the opening goal came in fortunate circumstances after just six minutes when Ryan Child’s set-piece from wide on the left curled into the top corner.
However, there was no fortune attached to the hosts’ second as Jack Metcalf’s cross in from the left to Callum Hinder, who finished with ease.
Town had further chances before Tom Stocks set up the third goal on 27 with another cross which was headed in by Metcalf.
United had chances to pull a goal back, with Sam Clift seeing an effort blocked and a Callum Cooper header saved by Ashley Maw.
Much of the second half was something of a non event, with the hosts happy to settle for victory as the visitors rarely threatened.
United keeper Callum Hotine denied Adrian Harvey and Mark Lenihan, while Clift set up Marc Lanfear at the other end but Maw made a fine save.
