A 2-1 win for Pheasant at North Star was good enough to ease their own Division One relegation worries while leaving their opponents in the drop zone.

Richie Bolter’s goal from a Brently Roberts assist put Pheasant in front at the break, however, Jason Povey got North Star back on level terms.

The game was turned on its head when Star’s Jamie Van Crump sent off and Pheasant made the extra-man advantage count as a Ben Morris header from a corner gave them the win.

Corsham Centre Youth came from 2-0 down to beat Miller Sports A 6-3.

The Centre appeared to want another hour in bed as Miller flew out of the blocks only industrious captain Ben Moore appeared to have any ability or endeavour to stop the attacks.

On 20 minutes, Alex Shaftoe’s shot from 30 yards to open the scoring before the Centre defence was caught flat-footed and Adam Welch doubled the lead.

Centre were then forced reshuffled their side when they lost Simon Gray injury and it paid dividends as Ben Moore reduced the arrears on 35 minutes with a long-range strike.

Five minutes later, a James Lye penalty sent the teams in level at the break.

Miller were awarded a penalty of their own five minutes into the second half, however, Welch failed to find the net allowing Corsham to break and Lye made it 3-2 with his second.

He then completed his hat-trick in the 65th minute before Welch pulled a goal back to make it 4-3.

Liam Ralph then outpaced the Miller defence to cross for Lye to head home Corsham’s fifth before another Ralph cross saw Josh Bright complete the scoring.

FC Pig & Whistle suffered an 8-1 loss at home to Bath Road to leave them favourites for relegation.

Ashley Fletcher’s goal for the Pig was just a consolation as a Nick Manifold treble coupled with doubles for Kieren Ingram and Ryan Baddly-Hopkins and a lone strike from Jonny Ingram won it for Bath Road.

Somerford and Rowdy Cow Rowde failed to break the deadlock in an evenly matched first half, but after falling behind to a Robbie Whyte goal, Trevor Rawlings side turned things around to claim a 2-1 win thanks to strikes from Josh Langley and Chris Cox.
