TROWBRIDGE archer Jade Pocock was selected to represent England for their junior home nations round last weekend at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry.
The four nations all shot a Portsmouth round, which consists of 60 arrows being shot at a 60cm target face 20 yards away.
England were beaten into second place by Scotland by just a point, with 15-year-old Pocock finishing seventh in her age group overall out of 29 archers.
