MELKSHAM Town B remain top of Division Two turned in a magnificent performance that saw them beat Warminster Town A 11-3.
Jack Woolsgrove’s first-half treble and strikes for Dan Broom and Thomas Redpath gave Melksham a 5-1 half-time lead. Woolsgrove added his fourth after the break, a Dan Walker double and a goal each from Joshua Draper, Ben Winn and Sam Robinson made up the 11.
Ross Melia, Leon Lloyd and Dave Watkins replied for Warminster.
South Newton & Wishford are still looking for their first points of the season after they were on the wrong end of a seven-goal contest that saw Trowbridge-based Greyhound claim a 4-3 win at their Clarendon Academy ground.
Simon Parfitt with two and singles for Sean O’Brien and Luke Taylor saw Greyhound after Mitch Dow’s double and Jack Bridewell’s effort had given South Newton a chance of getting something from the game.
Zeals made it three wins on the spin after they saw off a challenge from Trowbridge Wanderers Development to run out 6-1 victors.
Joao Rodrigues' penalty and the first of Claudio Lopes’ first of the contest cancelled out Matt Dew’s goal for Wanderers to give Zeals a 2-1 lead.
Two more goals from Lopes saw him complete his hat-trick, Aaron Carter and Dom Powell also found the target in a second half that saw Matthew Gittens sent off for Wanderers.
