MELKSHAM’S Brad Scott suffered a second successive defeat in UFC after being beaten by debutant Carlo Pedersoli in Liverpool at the weekend.
The 28-year-old lost a split decision to Italian Pedersoli, who was fighting on MMA’s premier brand for the first time at the Echo Arena having been drafted in as a late replacement for Scott’s scheduled opponent Salim Touahri.
One judge viewed the welterweight contest in Scott ‘s favour at 29-28, but the other two went against him, marking Pedersoli as the winner by the same scoreline.
Scott was returning to the octagon for the first time since his first-round knockout defeat at the hands of Jack Hermanss last August and now boasts a 12-6 win-loss record in MMA.
