Michael Flynn said that Swindon Town were waiting to find out if some first-team players would be available for their League Two clash with Mansfield Town.

Seven players were unavailable last weekend as Town earned a 1-1 draw against Harrogate Town, and whilst there is some good news with players returning this weekend, Flynn said there was still some clarity to be found around the availability of others.

George McEachran was one who did not make the trip to North Yorkshire but was able to play the majority of the first half against Exeter City on Tuesday.

But Flynn said that he was still waiting for confirmation on whether some members of his squad could feature against the Stags.

He said: “We have got a couple who have returned who weren’t available on Saturday against Harrogate.

“Obviously Tyrese [Shade] is back from international duty and George [McEachran] came through 40 minutes against Exeter.

“We will just have to wait and see and wait on one or two more now ahead of tomorrow’s game.

“Rushian [Hepburn-Murphy] is one of the ones we are waiting for, I am not sure with him, it is 50-50 and that is where we are at.”
