CORSHAM'S third string maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a solid display in Saturday's rearranged Dorset & Wilts Division 3 North encounter at Marlborough.
In foul conditions, the visitors adapted quickest to the elements and they took the lead when Jake Goldsworthy broke off his wing and fed skipper and captain Jason, who offloaded to Wes Newson short of the line for a try-scoring pass.
With veteran Shaun Lynch leading the forward efforts in the back row, Corsham pulled away for a comfortable victory - with Newson going on to complete a hat-trick, Jake Goldsworthy and Roy Hewett also crossing.
Tim Pierce kicked Marlborough’s points.
