CHIPPENHAM travelled to Gloucester to take on Hartpury Futsal Club in their second match of the FA National Futsal League season.
Defensive errors and poor finishing left Chippenham trailing 4-2 at the interval, with goals from Jamie Lyons and Lucas Totti to show for their efforts.
After the break, Chippenham started brighter, moving the ball around with greater purpose and were rewarded with two quick goals from Lyons.
Lyons was then sent off for his second yellow card and, with Chippenham down to four players, Hartpury scored to regain the advantage.
Both teams traded goals to take the score to 10-10, before two goals from Luke Ballinger and a 10-metre penalty from Totti secured the three points in a thrilling end-to-end encounter.
Goalscorers for Chippenham were Totti (6); Lyons (3); Ballinger (3); and Gary Banks.
Chippenham’s next game is home to Hereford on February 21 (2pm) at @Futsal, in Swindon.
