WESTBURY United have appointed former Frome Town and Warminster Town boss Andy Crabtree as their new manager.

Crabtree replaces Paul Brickley, who called time on his tenure after the Toolstation League First Division side just missed out on promotion this season.

Crabtree takes charge with immediate effect, having guided Frome into the Zamaretto League.

His spell with the Robins ended in September with Frome struggling near the foot of the table before Darren Perrin took over and guided them to the brink of the play-offs.

A club statement said: "The club are very pleased to get a manager of his experience and quality at Westbury and are grateful to former manager Paul Brickley for the seamless transition and for his service to the club.''

United's Presentation Evening for the 2009-2010 campaign will take place on Friday, May 21 from 7.30pm in the Meadow Lane clubhouse.

Awards will be presented to players from all the clubs' teams.

All are welcome to come on the evening and a buffet will be provided.
