WILTSHIRE are looking to wrap up victory over Berkshire on the third morning of their Minor Counties Championship match at Station Road, Corsham, today.
Chasing a daunting 468 for victory, Berkshire slumped to 59-5 in their second innings at stumps last night.
Wiltshire vice captain James Hibberd was on a hat-trick for the second time in the match as he tore through the Berkshire top order with three quick wickets.
Earlier in the day Hibberd claimed four first innings wickets as Berkshire, who had resumed on 68-5, were dismissed for a paltry 148.
South Wilts seamer Alex Senneck finished with three wickets and leg-spinner Pat Turk claimed two.
Wiltshire then set about the Berkshire attack with an array of attacking strokes.
Openers Eddie Abel (123) and Peter Dennett (74) were in commanding form as the ball disappeared to the boundary seemingly at will. Michael Coles was unbeaten on 50 as the hosts declared their second innings on 278-for three.
Today Wiltshire need just five wickets to force their second championship win of the summer.
Play resumes at 11am.
