WESTBURY United earned a point from a six-goal thriller on Tuesday night as they drew at Chard Town.
Liam Cleal netted twice for the home side in the first-half, with John Hurford also on target, but Sam Gooding and Phil Alford’s side hit back.
Beau Blakeman, Simon Millard and Mark Young all got themselves on the scoresheet as United maintained their unbeaten start to the new Toolstation League First Division season.
That unbeaten start began with a 2-0 opening day victory over Almondsbury UWE last Saturday.
Jake Antell broke the deadlock midway through the second-half with a header from Young’s corner.
Substitute Gary Tugwell then sealed the win late on when he pounced on a mistake from the Almondsbury defence.
Westbury, who are level on points with Melksham Town and Elmore after the first week of the new season, host Keynsham Town tomorrow.
Keynsham went down 1-0 at Elmore in their opening fixture last weekend.
