WARMINSTER pushed themselves away from danger with a 68-run win over Illminster.
In the first innings Warminster relied on two partnerships - between Richie Underdown (42) and Tom Davie (41) for the third wicket and between Neil Dredge (23) and Miikee Selmes (22) for the eighth - to post a decent total.
Richard Elswood was the pick of the Illminster attack, claiming 3-24 in 10 very economical overs.
And their 192 proved to be far too good for the visitors, as only Illminster captain Sam Spurway was able to provide any kind of resistance to the Warminster attack.
Spurway hit 36, but his teammates fell continuously around him as Stuart Hammon (3-31) led the way with the ball.
There were also two wickets each for John Powell and Dredge as Illminster were bowled out for 124.
