WARMINSTER bowed out of the Dorset & Wilts 1st XV Plate as unbeaten Weymouth clinched a comfortable win at Folly Lane.
The visitors seized control of the game with a penalty and unconverted try, but the boot of Jason Sprangle reduced arrears for the home side with their first score.
Little mistakes cost Warminster dear as Weymouth scored a second try from a pushover and the conversion made it 18-3.
Needing a score before half time, Warminster were rewarded when wing Rob Johnson touched down and Sprangle added the conversion.
Weymouth dominated the second period, but the hosts felt aggrieved when captain Alex Payne was sin-binned for the third time this season for a debatable high tackle.
The visitors took advantage, scoring three more tries to close the game out.
