A LATE goal from George Miller pinched all three points for Frome in a strength-sapping encounter against Redditch United.

The pitch was predictably heavy and the match settled into a mainly midfield battle with Redditch tending to look for the ball over the top and Frome looking to get the ball out to Darren Jefferies to attack on the right.

That almost paid off in the 18th minute as he hit the post after a mazy run, and with Ollie Knight bringing a good save from Ethan Ross in the 29th minute, Frome were creating the better chances.

Redditch really should have taken the lead in the 53rd minute as Tristan Dunkley headed a free kick wide from close range.

Frome failed to trouble Ross for long periods, but then the only goal of the game arrived in the 93rd minute as Miller curled a free kick to the far post and, as the Redditch defence looked to have dealt with the ball, it came back to Miller who let fly with a low, skidding shot from the edge of the area that buried itself in the far corner.
